Information Technology Architect
|IT Architects define solutions and architectures to address client business requirements and technical needs. They work in levels of abstraction, applying industry knowledge, and leveraging appropriate technology information. They develop, test, and present client solutions, which may involve various technologies, services, and architectural styles and domains. Positions are located in major cities across the U.S.|
Candidates for this position should have experience in one or more Applications & Integration Middleware (AIM) based software product areas. Examples include mainstream AIM software, such as those from IBM, Microsoft, and Tibco.
Position includes business and technical understanding of solutions, technical solution design, and development, test, and client presentations. Candidate must excel at both working independently as well as in a group/team setting. Analyzing and solving problems will be crucial to success. Communication and presentation skills are essential.
During the first nine months of this dynamic position, you will be a trainee in the Sales & Distribution (S&D) Summit Program. Your time as an S&D Summit Program Trainee will consist of extensive technical training and shadowing, and consultative sales training to enable you to match the technical capabilities of IBM offerings to client requirements.
IT Architect Trainees are required to be located in Dallas, TX, their first nine months. A considerable amount of travel is required during training. Previous trainees have traveled for training to cities such as Raleigh, New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Chicago. Following the training period, you will be relocated to your permanent work location where you will be consulting with clients of all sizes across various industry sectors, leveraging your technical expertise to assist your sales counterparts and maintain client satisfaction.
As an IT Architect Trainee, you will be part of the client account team and drive revenue through in-depth, complex technical demonstrations, designing solutions, and technical evaluations.
